act of remorse and repentance

very proudly they say to the world:
the sun rises in the east first.
then why this primordial darkness does not dispel

from this sun-worshipping Aryavarta?

they declare with great arrogance

that they shed their tail and horn ages ago

and are the earliest civilized specie.

and yet, why the beast is still alive in their blood?
rapes, murders, loot, arson ---barbarous atrocities on dalits,

the all-time servants of this land of sun are committed daily.

since centuries they offer Surya-namaskaras,

they chant day and night the Gayatri Mantra,

their daily prayer starts with Sanskritshloka :

‘tamso ma jyotirgamay---from darkness,  take us to light’

and yet, why do these holy Hindus remain cursed with darkness,

not getting the blessings of their God of light?

but there are happy tidings coming out of the  continent,

they call it a continent of darkness  ---

that they got blessed with the light of the wise sun !

Hutus of Rwanda had slaughtered eight lakh Tutsis

belonging to the same nation and same color
in a jungle genocide.
Kofi Annan, stunned with the African massacre
appealed with his eyes in tears
to the reconciliation convention:
boycott the barbarity and embrace in fraternity.
culture and civilization means nothing if there is no fellow-feeling .
be enlightened by the brilliant beams of the big star,
and our planet world will be peaceful and beautiful.

but to get a ray of the sun, the precondition is regret and remorse .
instead of your holy shastras,recite from the gujarati  poet :

‘ha pastavo vipul jharanu… 
repentance is the spring that has come from the heaven’.
